Project Objectives:
- To build a framework of sustainable housing in the context of Kuttanad
- To understand the vulnerabilities of the region
- To codify the methods of housing construction
- To develop a framework for existing coping mechanisms
Project Outputs:
Project focussed on the housing vulnerability to flood disasters of the BPL community in the region. The outputs included a contextual understanding of the various typologies of landforms and contextual recommendations for flood resilient house construction.
